L.A Story : Little Life Thoughts

hey hey humans!

It's been a while ay?
I've been sick.. well, not that I'm completely recovered right now but I can type!

I haven't blog this type of post for pretty long time since right now it's full with traveling posts hahaha thought I should come by with it before continue the journey.. maybe we could be like this along the way right.

And yea, some of my exclusive readers was missing this idea-sharing kinda post so yea :)

Well, this is kinda weird sharing Starbuck drink, but this was funny it made my day!

As I told the staff behind a counter my name is Bo.. He look confused so I said 'B-O' BO and this thing came out.. my name is MioBo.. pretty cool huh?

It's like a circus member name or something.
I feel super strange when the Starbuck guy called the name and he looked at me..
Well, hey man.. that's a mistake Lol

And this is what happen if you live in the middle of Hollywood Walk of Fame..

Maybe that's some news report
I met Star War Dark Vader and Luke walking together peacefully.. I met 2 Captain Jack Sparrow talking.. Jesus hugging people.. and that's just like what happening in Time Square but wilder..

and sometime they blocked the road with giant balloon and traffic got worse! ..L.A huh
Lol.

That was my first week alone after the film camp and I have to admit that I felt pretty lost a bit.. Like suddenly everything's end and I'm alone.. in somewhere I have never been before in my life.. I wandering around a lot and buy stuffs.. a lot.. :p

for some of you who wonder about he products in last post..
Nars, Stila, and Smashbox ones were epic.. I meant.. I haven't stop using it since.. especially when it comes to days I really want to look extremely put together these are always my choice!

As I was wandering, sitting, laying, being bored I came across this picture..
Any of you guys here use the app or website Wehearit ?

I LOVE IT

it kills time and its beautiful<3

My friends and I feel that this is the picture that gives so much..
We are the type of girl who.. well, not that we're not proud of ourselves but there're so many pretty girls out there.. like suepr flawless human being and it drain us sometimes..

First look at this picture I just feel that it's super duper true..

Second glance. I felt I've come to another perspective of it..
Personally, I don't like rose.. and I have to tell you even though it doesn't sounds relevance, and of corse, I like Dandelion.. I meant.. It's not gorgeous like rose, but it has its own beauty.. and it gives us hope..

Have you ever pick up Dandelion from the ground, make a wish and blow it out?

It's something that's so simple and beautiful..
Like a little faith we put in small things in life.. it gives us smile.

and that's the though I've came through.. :)

Getting back to the Walk of Fame..
I found this picture pretty funny.. it's at Sweet.. that largest candy store on earth lol

Eminems by M&Ms..

Silly but i like it hahahhaa

Stopping by Disney shop to get ice cream and came out because I didn't wanna sit alone in a place full of family -___-

Ice cream was good though

And this is another I'm gonna leave you with..
A quote by John Wooden.. I don't really know who he is but he definitely have something to do with UCLA because there's his statue there and the gym was named after his name.. hm.. :p

I like it a lot..
Don't care what people got to talk about you.. as long as you know who you are :)

Have a great one (two or even three)

L.A Story

Oh My God.

I only got 1 week left here!
Gosh nooooo!!

How come I have been here for 2 months already.. This is too soon!
And a month already passed while in Los Angeles.. What. Gosh.

Good time fly away too fast!

Even I might have been living here for a while I am still going to post some old stuffs I did and haven't share to you guys here still :3

This is how I roll :p

Let's start up with my first week, solo life in the city of angels

Different from a dorm room. This is a room I rent for one month in Hollywood!
It's not big but it's super cozy..

When living alone, well personally, I don't prefer big place.. It gives me such a lost sense somehow. Like, if it's big and I am the only one there I feel a bit empty..

I know you get me loves ;)

This place actually come with a very good price!
Maybe because I rent if super early in advance.. If you guys looking for some place to stay whether short or long term I recommend this website called Airbnb. They have place all over the world, it's like a landlord or room owner open up for you to stay and pay them..

Well, choose wise though :)

So I start of the day alone at Starbuck because I haven't got any chance to step in any store and buy food at all so.. Starbuck is a life saver of the day!

And the perks of living in the middle of Hollywood Boulevard is that everything is just around the corner! Food and every shop to spend money in. Lol

So I was super free..  No plans all day!

I stopped by Sephora..
Well, maybe not stopping by because I feel I spent quite a quality time in there.. I got all names of products I interest in, tried on and swatch some pretty stuffs around..

Normally, I don't walk in just to get information though, this time I did because I wanted to buy some skin products which, you know, quite effective to life.. So I wanted to check all reviews online before I decide to purchase any :)

After spent quite a long time in Sephora I ended up try something on at Forever 21!

They got lots of new stuffs in store and also, loads on sale too!
Something I really concern about XXI is their mirror..

Did any of you guys ever notice its super fake? Lol

I look extremely taller and thinner than the actual size hahahah
So here I am proving to you.. I feel kinda weird about myself in this picture..
I look so.. not me -__-

Pink top. Pacsun shorts. Steve Madden shoes.

And of course.
By trying so many stuffs on.. I end up bought it back a lot too!

Here's some accessories I got that day :3

I'm not a big fan of huge earrings or something that hang down from my ear but yea, I decided to give it a try.. Maybe i'll need them someday that I wanted to look super ..accessorised (?) hahha

I like the Pow one a lot too.
It gives such a pop art feeling!
Like a BOOM BAANG POW in either Marvel or DC comics :)

I'm a fan of Marvel!!
*I love Batman though*

And talking about Comics..

You guys know.. I'm such a movie geek..
Here I got Marvel. Star Trek and also Spider Man!

I ended up cut of the sleeve of Marvel t-shirt off yesterday..
Because somehow, when I wear normal t-shirt with shorts I look like an elementary school girl.. and with this Marvel characters it would just add up!

The Spider Man one that I got is a man's t-shirt though..
I don't know if I ever mention this before but I love men's shirt/ t-shirt/ tank a lot..!
hehhehe Tomboy much huh.

I'll come back to you guys real soon about my Sephora Haul.. What I decided to get and more on L.A travel for sure! For now, Have a great weekend! TGIF :)

smile a lot!

UCLA Camp

Hayylooo Folks ;)!

I was done with The States traveling because it reached the time I have to get into the camp life!
So I flew from San Francisco down to the city of angels!

I was picked up at the airport by one of the camp's mentors and altogether with other strangers we hopped on a car to start our UCLA Life!

It was a film camp held by an organisation called US Performing Arts, they held all kind of arts camp all over the states' university. It was pretty cool surrounded by such amazing people who share your passions.

So all students and mentors stay in the dorm room they put us in, and luckily (as I really think I'm lucky), I have a single! no roomies! wooooot wooooooooot!!

It look really campus ish. Hahahahaha
but it was pretty comfortable and clean, I love it a lot!

One thing I have to mention, all these camps have age limit, the widest limit is my camp it's 16-20 and guess what, I am 20 and it happen to be super strange because most of the campers are like 17!! So I have to spend my entire two weeks with the youngers, but they are super awesome, and I just feel like they're my friends which I don't know I blended myself into the age or what. Lol

And also, in this 2 weeks everyone was grouped up into a group of 9 plus one mentors. Another funny story is that my group is a group of 9 guys and 1 girl, which is, yes, me.

And according to the history I'm not really comfortable being around guys because I went to girls school for 12 years and I'm currently in Arts field college so it just full of girls.. But you know what, these guys are amazing that I feel super duper comfortable with and I'm just so happy spending time with them! How lucky am I!?

Not just we studying and doing film production all time 24/7
We have time to chill as well!

Now I'm taking you to the place called Westwood.
It's like a downtown UCLA, which is probably better than Downtown LA, according to what people usually told me about that place.

Sorry for the blurness of the picture. This is the best I promise.. :-/

So, Westwood is pretty amazing.
It full of quality restaurant, coffee shops, shopping place like Urban Outfitters or American Apparel, there're theaters as well!
and even their ice-cream place was super famous. People lined up there like crazy!

This is the famous sandwich place called Fat Sal's
My mentor said that they have all of the fat stuffs in the world here and you can have whatever you want just create your own sandwich, throw your favourite fat stuffs in it!!

Well, according to the menu, it scares me too! :p
So I decided to have just a fries with fat sauce (that's what they called!)

This is a glimpse of my groupie at In&Out hahhahaa

UCLA has such a decent food too. There cafeteria is pretty big and clean and there also variety of food.. Though, everyday is not much different but in a day they provide choice.. which is cool..

According to the camp, they took cellphones away during they day and give it back to campers in specific time so I couldn't take much pictures of the campus there but since I'm still in L.A and I'm pretty sure I'll go chill myself around there again so you guys will get to see how beautiful that place is! <3

On the 4th of July,  the camp took all students to Hollywood Walk of Fame, which funny because it's where I live right now. Lol

So we walked around the place, exploring and sitting around just to take our holiday off.. which is yes some American friends of mine feel pretty patriotic but well, I'm not from here so.. Yea :p

These footprints I'm showing you are the ones in front of The Chinese Theater. And yes, it's the famous place Hollywood stars came pumped their hands and feet it and took pictures of it. It'd be super awesome if someday I have my prints there too hahahahha

*daydreaming*

Here's another famous place in Hollywood Boulevard. It's called Hollywood N Highland Centre.

Well, sincerely, I asked everyone I know about what is the meaning of all these sculpture and monuments here and no one can give me answer.. They just all blanked out.. Hahaha

Only thing that I know is that it becomes a signature of the hotel in this centre. Lowe.
(if I misspell it, my apology.)

If any of you guys know what it means let me know in the comment! <3

And of course! Time for some ice-cream!!!
I love how my friends love ice cream as much as I do and they actually stopping at Cold Stone just to sit and have an ice cream talk. I love it!

As far as dessert and sweet, Hollywood N Highland Centre have a Sweet shop called Sweet!
and as they signed in front of their door, it's the Biggest sweet shop in the world!

Which yea, I don't know if it's true or not but it's pretty huge..

They got every kind of sweet you can think of in the world!
MMs, Hershey, Sneakers, mash mellow, candy cane, chewy in different flavour, and Willy Wonka!

Sadly, they don't have one thing, and it's my favourite of all time.. Crunchy!!
It's pretty sad.. but you've got all the choices in the world there so maybe it is fine..

What's your favourtie?

After spending quite a while in Hollywood blvd, we hopped on a bus to spend our 4th of July night at Hollywood Bowl! This was an amazing experience for me, it just.. I don't think this will ever happened anytime in my life because

1. I'm not American
2. I don't live around here

So we came here to watch concert of a gentleman whom I already forgot his name..

His famous song is 'You Raise Me Up' I bet you all have heard of it at least once..
I actually have such experience with this song!!

In high school, 9th Grade, we have to held a father's day ceremony and the last song we sang to our dads was this You Raise Me Up and it's pretty incredible to actually having this opportunity to hear the singer sing it himself.. I was stunned..

Well, because, personally, I like this kinda of activity where I get to sit down, enjoy to wind blow and nature and here it's such a good place and this guy sing kinda amazing too. So I was pretty happy :)

and speaking of the 4th of July!

Here come the fireworks!!

It was an amazing night after all. The film stuffs in my camp was awesome too!

I'll talk to you guys soon,
Have a great week :)
