L.A Story: Spa and Malibu

Hey guys hey guys!

I owe you amazing beings an apology for being gone like.. foreva!
Super sorry :-/

Honestly, I got caught up by school works and life works and emotional stuffs that I super not prefer to have any but I have since we can't control it.. bleh

You know what,
my final exams of this semester supposed to be over last week but due to the political instability in my city it got postponed!!!! *sadlife* and now I haven't finished my exams yet but feel like I'm already on holiday..
How can I not feel that..

I mean,
all the educational motivation equal all gone.

So that was a little catch up on my life.. right now I should continue what I started!
Here we gooooo, more more more Elle Ayyyy! Who doesn't love Elle Ayyyyyyyyyyy<3

Beverly Hilton

On one sunday I got so bored like.. so freaking bored you have no idea hahaha
So I just took off to Beverly Hilton which is the Hilton hotel which is yes.. in Beverly Hills

I like how they adapt the hotel name.. it's pretty cool :p

Oh yea,
I did some research few days before about spa in LA. like the package, price and everything and here I am, ending up at Beverly Hilton.. Let me tell you, it was amaaazing<3

Lobby at Beverly Hilton

The package that I choose for my sunday spa is the head, shoulder and back massage, it's not that much expensive compare to other package..

This one kinda cure the migraine, which I normally suffer as well

I called in booking my schedule first in the morning, manage myself and come here early :)

When I got here, I was early right, the staff showed me all the facility belongs to the spa and hotel pool which spa customers accessible to. It was pretty comfortable, they provided the locker room, shower and the streaming shower which is extremely good.

So i changed a little and went hanging around the pool

Beverly Hilton

I have my book and my phones and that day was absolutely amazing.
It wasn't the sunny in LA. kinda day and I can actually feel the refreshing breeze

Beverly Hilton

Well,
I am not even feel completely believe myself that I randomly book a spa in Beverly Hills and had such an amazing day..

I mean, I looked back often and it reminds me how life is just about doing whatever makes you feel good and this is what I did that moment.

lovely

Before the time I went in a bit early to wait for my 'i dont know what they called at that time' girl who will give me the massage, at the lounge :p

And yeaa, that was the lounge and she gave me this weird looking teabag so I took a photo of it..

This teabag looking like a triangle shape that weirdly cannot either stand or flow..
soooo hipster
LOL

The massage was amazing I have to tell you guys again <3

The next day or maybe days later I got this pop trip to Malibu with my brother's friend who's taking care of me while I was there..
We actually planned to go rent a car for me but then somehow we ended up pick 2 more of his friends and head to Malibu.. sounds like an incredible pop up plan huh :)

Brace yourself, I am going to spam you guys with the ocean pictures!

Point Dume ,Malibu, CA

Point Dume, Malibu, CA

The ocean breeze up there was massive strong.. I was about to fly up to the sky, honestly.

So Point Dume was like one of those spot you drive up to see the whole ocean view and beach of Malibu, it was amazing!

It was so high as well!!

Point Dume, Malibu, CA

So yea,

The walk way goes on like this I don't know until where but I walk along quite a while with my friends and you know, it wasn't always clean and safe like this picture..

At one point it just stop the fence out of the blue and I feel like I might die

hahhaha

Maybe not that scary but for me who extremely scared of height.. I found it terrifying

And yesssss
This is how it look like when the wood fence was gone and all we got was this weird rope.. I mean.. How can you expect people to be safe behind this weak rope..

Point Dume, Malibu, CA

Oh yea, not to mention how cold and scared I was so I was jumping up and down when I feel secure to prevent this chills.. I probably look like a Chihuahua...

Mannn.. that's not look like it in real place, it's so high no kidding :p

That was me, clumsily walking down the sandy cliff..
sounds pretty mortifying isn't it? Lol

Oh yea,
Just like I said this was a pop up plan so my outfit was sooo not for the cold beach..
Like who know it gonna be THIS cold.. and windy.. which makes it even more cooolllddd

Well,
At least I was wearing this converse dude..
Or else I might be tripping ..or any less uncomfortable

It actually made me feel a little safer from the fact that I was walking 10 inches away from the cliff that down there was like.. rocks..

Hahahahaa
I hope I didn't make you guys feel like Malibu is a terrifying place,
It's actually very very nice and beautiful I was just super scared of the heights :p

Oh and I didn't mention that the wind was soooo soo strong that we have to shout in each other face to hear what we were talking.. and after we got back on a car I kinda hear the weeee sounds in my ear and it was hurt a little too..

Just like concert

It's just natural concert of wind

..or something similar

Malibu, CA

Yea

Then we hop on the car and drive down and a bit more to find some quiet beach to chill

That was it!

It wasn't any warmer than up there at all to be honest hahaha and we kinda all touch the ocean water just for the sake of yolo..

no.
For the sake of coming to Malibu hahaha

The water was, as predicted, super duper duper cold!
Like I can feel it to my boneessss

This was where we had dinner..
My apologise I cannot recall what the name of the restaurant was but even if I do I would tell you guys that you should eat somewhere else anyway.. hahahhaa

It wasn't bad it just ..
I feel that there probably be somewhere better than this somewhere near so I didn't get the impression of it so good.. the food was fine despite the fact that I almost cold to death I had a really good time!

Urban Lights, LACMA, LA

You know what funny?

Despite how deadly cold I feel, we still stop by couple more places just for fun!
Yeaa here we are at LACMA!

Topshop top and bag, BDG jeans and converse

For some of you who don't know what LACMA is.. It's the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and for you guys who haven't been there yet.. It wasn't super duper big as the picture shows fyi

I like this Urban Lights at LACMA for so long!

I mean.. I watched youtube videos a lot and dance videos and everything which many of them shot here and they look absolutely stunning!

Well, the real thing wasn't so big but it's still absolutely amazing!

It's a really good place to come take picture, I recommend :)

And i guess, it's all for this post..
Wow..

Haven't done this for so long I miss it! Hope you guys have an amazing week!

The Bay #2

Hello fellas!
Welcome to the 2nd post on City of Artists aka Saaaan Francisco!

Topshop tank. American Apparel easy jeans

so sooo sooooo,
When you think of San Francisco, what is the first thing on your mind?

Well, there're loads of possibilities like hipsters, pub, painted building, cable car or even homeless folks but on my mind.. the first thing pops up is the Golden Gate Bridge!

As I have been loving this amazing bridge for a while like I've always love the flatiron building of NYC..  I did the best homework on where is the best spot to see it and I'm proud to present you guys this amazing place

Crissy Field

'Crissy Field'

Crissy Field

This beach is.. AMAZING

For the bridge, it has a great spot to enjoy the view and also, here, I saw such a life quality of people in The Bay.. I saw family and friends hanging out. people walking and playing with their dogs, couple sitting down for a picnic.. It all just so beautiful..

A little bad luck on my day.. There's sooo much fog covering the bridge..
Though, it was pretty and all atmosphere there got me. I was super happy just standing there and let the wind blowing my hair.. fresh air and everything was perfect<3

This was how it look up there at the viewing spot.. fog was crazy..

Crissy Field

Trust me, if you have time, any day you visit SanFran, don't forget to pay a time for Crissy Field. :)

And if you face the ocean, behind you is Palace of Fine Arts Theater.
It is another place worth visiting. Actually I saw no theater in there at all.. but maybe I wasn't really care if there is one.. hhahaha. The place was grand and pretty cool

Palace of Fine Arts Theater

Palace of Fine Arts Theater

If you're hungry..

There's not much restaurant close.. but if you walk up Lyon St. and trust me to open your map and keep eyes open while you walk because this Lyon street. is kinda messed up.

Walk up on Lyon until you hit Lombard st. you'll see a little pizza place called Pizza Avellino
The place was quite small but it's good and close to Crissy Field the most.

They got a cute place too.
When I arrived there, it was no one at all and then after we got our pizzas people started to flow in!

Their pizza was good

Moving on.. moving on!

The next day we all decided to go east for some seafood goodies!
so, the destinations were The Fisherman Wharf and Pier 39

I looked up online and the only way to go there on public transport in by cable car..
now all the To Do in SF would be so completed, we got to ride the cable!!

Checked the schedule carefully or else you'll have to stand and wait forever..
and summertime, the sun in San Fran isn't nice at all.. burning like crazy!

so from where I got up is the 2nd station from the first start in Downtown and guess what.. Fisherman Wharf is the last stop! so yea, we ride the old machine for a long time.. :p
But it was really nice (if people are not squeezing to you death) because the wind is nice and you got to see house and hills in the city :)

After got off, keep walking into the Fisherman Wharf until you hit the last street next to the ocean and walking to the right for Pier39. There'll be plenty of museums, shops and restaurant on the street.

When you got to Pier39 take a stair on your left and keep walking until you find The Crab House!

Well,
If you don't want to eat here that's fine.. I just believe it stuffs online and try it there..
hahahaa :p It was pretty good though.

Inside The Crab Hose, I hope you get the window seats, no matter it ocean window or Pier window.. The wind kinda make everything better :)

Staffs there will hand you a plastic bag kinda thing for you to put over.. and trust them.. put it on.. or else your, whether white or black, shirt won't look nice after you finished your meal ;)

and yes for me, no matter how big the meal is I always got a spare space for my ice-cream!!

After finished your huge meal, don't ever get lazy and not walking around Pier..

This place is really nice, full of restaurants and shops.. There's also a marry-go-round as well.. very nice for whoever come with little kids or to take picture and upload it on Instagram. Lol

I'll be back with another post for The Bay and we'll talk about LA and my camp life!
Have a great days and nights my loves<3

The Bay #1

Welcome to the post on Saaaan Francisco!

Before I jump into all interesting places and yummy food I have to tell you guys my freaky flight experience first! So.. my flight leaving Orlando to Dallas was fine. A little bit delayed but I made it to Dallas to change the plane and come to SFO.

Bad luck, my seat was in the last roll of the plane and if any of you had ever sit there you'd know how scary it is to sit in the back of an airplane.. I once sit there going to somewhere I couldn't remember but it was so clear to me that the flight was madly scary.

Even more bad luck, not to me to be specific.. there was a gentleman (I suppose) on the plane who was sick and need medical attention immediately. The doctor on a plane insist to help him which was very nice but nothing seems to get better so mr.Pilot and his crew decided to land for this guy to be taken to hospital.

Unfortunately, we have to land in New Mexico and the desert storm and wind was so heavy that the plane shakes as the food cart slide and hit the freaking wall. I was terrified. The plane shakes like a wet puppy.. I'm not exaggerate this point at all, my mother and I was praying like a priest at that time.. And we landed in New Mexico Airforce Base some type of place.. they refill the engine and we took of to our destination.

Okay!
San Francisco here I come!

After checked in at Best Western the Hotel California in downtown san francisco. If you want to know my comment on the hotel.. I would love to advice you to stay in other place.. Downtown SF is a nice place, but the hotel.. I think there are a lot of better choices out there. I couldn't even remember why I booked this place..

YSL men. New era Los Angeles King. Converse.

So. we came out to have our very first meal in The Bay! Comforting myself, I choose the decent restaurant called The Grill.

First two were my friend's and my mom's
( Filet and Trout)
and another one is my PorkShop!

This is a small Japanese place nearby our hotel which my mother just suddenly pointed out and we went in. It turn out fine, Japanese taste in American style, I didn't expect much.

The place on Geary Street, in the block between Taylor st. and Mason st.
It turned out to be a very popular restaurant because everything I walked passed wether afternoon or at night there'll always be people waiting to be seated outside.

This is pretty much every morning of my trip in San Francisco..
Well, after being so busy in the East Coast, I would love to calm down and spend my lazy time on a bed blogging to you guys :D

In the picture you see me randomly posing in front of a weird red sign.. It's actually an Academy of Art University which contact me twice or more a month inviting me to join their conference or apply as a student.. Which is kinda cool..

At first I was shocked because from the book they sent me, I thought the campus is huge and not a building type college.. but after I while I got shocked even more because no matter how far in the Bay I travel I can see Academy of Art University campus everywhere!

so crazy..

At the time I was there, SF has such a weird weather.. I have to check every single minute.. maybe hour.. Lol. I have to check over and over again to see if each day going to be hot or cold. sunny or rainy. like California style or London style.

Some day it got pretty cold in the morning and out of the blue I have to go back to my hotel to change into tank top.. Strange huh?

This is our first French meal in the whole trip!

This place is very nice!
Staffs are so good. According to Yelp and maps, the review is pretty amazing too. The area inside is pretty small but location was no less than perfect. It's a french place called Cafe De La Presse directly opposite the Dragon Gate (China Town)

This big thing is mine dish. It look kinda creepy I know and it sounds creepy too if I tell you.
Yes, it's a raw beef.

It tastes interesting.
Not that raw beef I normally eat in the Korean food genre. This is new to me but it was positive.

I'll come back for more on SF soon guys!
I'm out of UCLA campus now too!! I have more time and surely, more shopping now as well and Im sure I'll do a haul for today's shop at XXI for you guys! It was amazing! x
