Bath (UK) - The Forum Coffee House

Hi there humans!

Today our on our topic of hang out places, I'm here to present you one of the most cozy cafes in the city of Bath, England

The Forum Coffee House

So The Forum is right in the corner, it's really easy to find and it's very spacious.
If you're looking for a place to discuss business, chitchat, study something, work on your project, or just hiding from the rain (yes, that was one of my main reasons lol)

This place offers counter-seatings, working desk seatings,
and couch seatings. The choices are yours, suit yourself with your purpose of visiting this place.

This place has desserts as well as the gluten-free ones.
The carrot cake here is pretty lovely.

Feel free to come here and enjoy your day!

I hope this place goes up to be one of your choices to come chill around on the English rainy day.

Los Angeles Hang Outs

Hello lovessss

Like I told you in my last post that I'm in LA!
Volunteering at Downtown LA Film Festival that just ended in mid Jul and hanging around taking some dance class and traveling!

Of course, traveling is my favourite thing on earth! hehe

So I'm here to guide you to some nice place in Lala Land ;)

First off

One of my favourite place in Los Angeles, I've come here several times including last year that I was soooo free hanging around alone in LA. This place called The Grove, it's around West LA

The Grove is a very very nice place to be at, especially in the evening
When the sunlight started to fade away they have the best lighting in town!!

There are many stores here you going to love. Some standard shopping stores like Topshop, Nike, Forever21, Madewell, Anthropology, J.Crew, Michael Cors, other shops like Barnes and Nobles and the big mall: Nordstorm, including the huge Farmers Market!

There's also a cinema and many restaurants that are perfectly amazing!

Don't forget to stop by the famous Sprinkle Cupcakes too!

So this time, before moving into an apartment, my friends and I rented this room in Downtown LA for 4 days staying before we confirmed with the landlord and move to Marina Del Rey.

I personally don't really like downtown LA but this apartment has one of the fine view overlook the downtown so it's kinda cool in a way.

Moving on to the next eating place!
I fell in love with this restaurant since last year that I've tried it for the first time<3

This place called The Little Next Door, located on 3rd street. It has a very nice and cozy atmosphere with the best white fish plate in town!

It only serve in the morning and afternoon, don't miss it!

The salmon plate is also very nice!!

XXI knit, Yves Saint purple lipstick

Oh and if you crave for dessert there are this two amazing place nearby on the same street:
Fônuts and Caramela Ice Cream

Fônuts has gluten free donuts, donuts and homemade ice cream that are very very nice!
and Caramela Ice Cream specialise in the amazing homemade icecream, if you're a caramel head like I am I suggest you order salted caramel because it's phenomenal!

Speaking of ice cream!

MILK

Don't get confused why I suddenly say milk.. lol
Milk is the best best best ice cream place in LA. <3

There's a lot of amazing ice cream places in Los Angeles but of course, Milk got to be on the list!

This place located on Beverly blvd and you better be there early.
Every time I go to milk there's a long line dragged out of the store, and I tell you, every.time.

But I don't know about early evening though because I always go there when dark hehehe :p

They are famous for their ice cream macaron.
Just like in the picture!

And as a caramel head, you can totally guess what flavor I got :p

Don't let them ice cream macaron fools you, because you have to try their blue velvet cake too!

And speaking of being in LA. one must visit LACMA
aka. Los Angeles County Museum of Art
so I took my friends there just for the sake of taking photos

I mean,
is there any other reason people go there instead of taking photos?
maybe like hanging around ..?

I don't really get the point though.

I've been to LACMA for like ..6 times so something.
They said lanterns like this symbolise the modern and urbanism but it's just so ironic compare to how LA freeway lacks of light...

I mean,
you'll never gonna drive anywhere darker than LA freeway.. and I mean it,
maybe they could take some of them out and place it on the roads.. Lol

And if you're visiting LACMA, bring some sweater because with some reason I've not known, it's sooooo cold there, it's like the coldest point in Los Angeles lol

Have a great week my loves,

B

The Bay #1

Welcome to the post on Saaaan Francisco!

Before I jump into all interesting places and yummy food I have to tell you guys my freaky flight experience first! So.. my flight leaving Orlando to Dallas was fine. A little bit delayed but I made it to Dallas to change the plane and come to SFO.

Bad luck, my seat was in the last roll of the plane and if any of you had ever sit there you'd know how scary it is to sit in the back of an airplane.. I once sit there going to somewhere I couldn't remember but it was so clear to me that the flight was madly scary.

Even more bad luck, not to me to be specific.. there was a gentleman (I suppose) on the plane who was sick and need medical attention immediately. The doctor on a plane insist to help him which was very nice but nothing seems to get better so mr.Pilot and his crew decided to land for this guy to be taken to hospital.

Unfortunately, we have to land in New Mexico and the desert storm and wind was so heavy that the plane shakes as the food cart slide and hit the freaking wall. I was terrified. The plane shakes like a wet puppy.. I'm not exaggerate this point at all, my mother and I was praying like a priest at that time.. And we landed in New Mexico Airforce Base some type of place.. they refill the engine and we took of to our destination.

Okay!
San Francisco here I come!

After checked in at Best Western the Hotel California in downtown san francisco. If you want to know my comment on the hotel.. I would love to advice you to stay in other place.. Downtown SF is a nice place, but the hotel.. I think there are a lot of better choices out there. I couldn't even remember why I booked this place..

YSL men. New era Los Angeles King. Converse.

So. we came out to have our very first meal in The Bay! Comforting myself, I choose the decent restaurant called The Grill.

First two were my friend's and my mom's
( Filet and Trout)
and another one is my PorkShop!

This is a small Japanese place nearby our hotel which my mother just suddenly pointed out and we went in. It turn out fine, Japanese taste in American style, I didn't expect much.

The place on Geary Street, in the block between Taylor st. and Mason st.
It turned out to be a very popular restaurant because everything I walked passed wether afternoon or at night there'll always be people waiting to be seated outside.

This is pretty much every morning of my trip in San Francisco..
Well, after being so busy in the East Coast, I would love to calm down and spend my lazy time on a bed blogging to you guys :D

In the picture you see me randomly posing in front of a weird red sign.. It's actually an Academy of Art University which contact me twice or more a month inviting me to join their conference or apply as a student.. Which is kinda cool..

At first I was shocked because from the book they sent me, I thought the campus is huge and not a building type college.. but after I while I got shocked even more because no matter how far in the Bay I travel I can see Academy of Art University campus everywhere!

so crazy..

At the time I was there, SF has such a weird weather.. I have to check every single minute.. maybe hour.. Lol. I have to check over and over again to see if each day going to be hot or cold. sunny or rainy. like California style or London style.

Some day it got pretty cold in the morning and out of the blue I have to go back to my hotel to change into tank top.. Strange huh?

This is our first French meal in the whole trip!

This place is very nice!
Staffs are so good. According to Yelp and maps, the review is pretty amazing too. The area inside is pretty small but location was no less than perfect. It's a french place called Cafe De La Presse directly opposite the Dragon Gate (China Town)

This big thing is mine dish. It look kinda creepy I know and it sounds creepy too if I tell you.
Yes, it's a raw beef.

It tastes interesting.
Not that raw beef I normally eat in the Korean food genre. This is new to me but it was positive.

I'll come back for more on SF soon guys!
I'm out of UCLA campus now too!! I have more time and surely, more shopping now as well and Im sure I'll do a haul for today's shop at XXI for you guys! It was amazing! x

New York City #2

Oh haii fellas <3

I came back fast ey?
Well I've got some time today! ..maybe like. tonightttt!

I went to Universal Studio in Orlando today and according to the fact that I am a super weird human that doesn't really goes along well with amusement park kinda stuff. I got extremely dizzy, felt terrible and went back to my hotel

Despite the feelings, i recovered, watched 3 episodes of Criminal Minds and now back here updating you guys about my days in the Big Apple!

That was the morning of my 2nd day!
With my lovely friend<3

Her name is Pear, i met her in elementary school but we got to know more in around grade7.
It was a long time right, for 20years of my life (urgh 20!) I've known this human for about 11 years!

After she stayed in Japan, came back and stayed with me.
Came here to America, got back and met me in Bangkok and now.
We finally got to meeet in the United States of Ameeeeerica!

Brooklyn Bridge, NewYork City.

We went to Brooklyn Bridge in the late morning.

Took the subway downtown, and walk along follow the bridge and signs.
It was a very nice day, clear sky and cool breeze blowing.

Unfortunately, the bridge was under constructing.. like. editing or something, we can still walk on it but some part was covered under the white sheet so it wasn't quite clearly pretty as it should be.

After a while of appreciating, we walk back down the same way, didn't actually cross to Brooklyn. We went to Financial District because my mother just so fond for the Stock market and she wanted to see the fancy NewYork Stock Exchange.

Well, sincerely, I wanted to see it too.
Not because I'm a market trader or anything but first, The Dark Knight Rises was shot based on the area. Second, I wanna see the famous charging bull which sounds quite strange and last, the place sounds cool to me. Lol.

Topshop blue tank, Topshop high waist blue soft jeans, converse classic, Longchamp long carry nude.

On the way there, we passed The Federal Hall.
Which yea, I don't know what it is but there was a huge statue of mr. president there.
Not the present one, ofcourse.

So yea, there was a huge body of George Washington in front of the Roman-like building but as I don't really know what he had done for the country, I shall just took a photo of his statue's sign..

No. I'm not being sarcastic.
hehehe :p

After had a troller lunch on the street for an American sake of feeling. We hop on the subway, headed uptown to the 5th Avenue.

No, not to upgrade the lifestyle or something but we got our tickets for NBC tour and Rockefeller in the evening.

This freaking ice cream on your left here killed me. It just sooo goooooood. so soft and sweet but not too sweet. MyGodddd. Just a really perfect combination!

so if you're in nyc and you see the big ice cream truck, jump in and ask for original ice cream on sugar cone. Trust me, no regret!

On our way there, we stopped by the huge 3 floors book store and finally I got the book I've been looking for; John Green's Looking for Alaska.

Since I read his The Fault in Our Stars and some random quotes online I always admire mr.Green's thought and choice of words..

If you like some kind of straight forward language you should try read some of his works.
it's brilliant.

As we've got loads of time,
I decided to check out this amazing place called The Grand Central Terminal.

Well yes, we all saw it from Gossip Girl the starting of the whole series..
but I'm not a huge fan of that franchise, I just wanted to be there because it look extremely good in the picture and it does! look stunning in reality.

Grand Central Terminal, New York City

Unfortunately, NBC Studio tour allows no camera inside so I couldn't take any picture for you guys from that incredible place..

It was huge.. like, the power and mental stuff they had on me.
I got goosebump when the guide said Justin Timberlake was there .. hahahahha :p

Well yea! It's JT, who wouldn't!

Up side down!

We stop by at Bouchon for some macarons.
Yes folks, you heard it right! The famous Bouchon!

I got myself one chocolate and one caramel here<3
hmmmm good..!

soooo,
Ready for Top of the Rock now guys?

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

The timing was accidentally perfect!
We planned to be there 8pm so we can see NewYork in night light but more lucky than that..

We got to see the sun setting over the Big Apple!!

First we just kinda feel screwed because it wasn't dark yet but when we see the sun going down, we all just went speechless.. guys, its amazing.

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

And there's the Empire State Building!

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

Not everyday that you got to see something like this in a life time..

Well guys,
I just wanted to say..

Appreciate every moment you have, it's all beautiful in its own way.
Memorize it the way you wanted to.
Breathe in every good minute and second you have as you're living in this world.
Take the breathe as if you're counting it.

Live your life in your pretty way :)

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

I'll get back to you soon and throw you guys some trolling I've done in NewYork!

Have a great day, great night and great whatever timezone you're in!
<3
