Hongkong No.2

Hello loves!
Hope you all have been having a really good week,
I'm coming back to finish my Hongkong post right here right now ;)

Topshop jacket, Balenciaga, dr martens

Started off the day my dad went out and got himself a watch.. it was pretty quick I was stunned by how an adult man spend their money.. hahaha so according to the tradition, it was during the Chinese New year celebration so they gave us this box of chocolate!

lovely!

By noon we all went out for this very nice restaurant named Cuisine Cuisine at IFC mall opposite Hongkong station

The place was very nice, you can sea the panoramic outside the window and all the decoration inside was pretty nice, it's clear and shimmering. Though IFC mall is like a shopping mall for all ages this restaurant's customers seems to be mostly middle ages or business people

Cuisine Cuisine, IFC Mall

Oh yea, and I got myself this little marc by marc earrings
Once in a while i'd buy a little luxury accessory for myself, i dont usually get the expensive ones because like, I love owning various kind of it more than like one big pricy one..

what do you think?

I usually get my accessories at Forever21 or like some local stores

Staying in for a little while before we went out for a dinner and chill out, I watched this movie called DonJon, have you guys seen it yet?

I was TOTALLY different from what i thought it would be.
I meant, i didnt even know what it would be like but definitely not how it is..

Well i've been wanting to watch it for a really long time since i know they started shooting it because I like Joseph Gordon-Levitt so much and he wrote, act and direct this film by himself so i was being a very supportive fan waiting for it hahahaha it shocked me for a day!

So at night we went out to this place called The Coffee Academics

It was very niceeee

Like so cozy and nice lighting, there were both indoor and outdoor too!

I bet their coffee is super nice..
But because i went there at night and im super caffeine sensitive so if i ever dare try their coffee i think i would be awake all night.. Lol

And that was my brother, being really nice and friendly..
Hahahahhahaa

..yea, my lips was pink.. like a reeeeeaaaally pink one
It's the colour Schiap by Nars that i got when i went to Korea 2 years ago for no good reasons.. I just thought i would look so weird and would make a really damn good statement for the outfit..

And of course, I was wearing black-on-black that night and the pink that pops out of nowhere made a really good combination :)

Brandy Melville beanie, Topshop leather jacket

Hope you guys enjoy the post and somehow entertained <3
I'll be posting again soon hopefully, hahaha

Have a great great weekend loves,
B

Hongkong No.1

Hello humans!

I am back again with the travel post :)
Today I'm presenting you guys my first half of the Hongkong island trip!

First of all of all of all..
This trip is a hella confusing trip to me, I was super blanked out of preparing stuffs.. which I'm super not like that.. I guess because I just finished the dance event so I got my energy pumped out

Starting up with the super blurry morning because I had to wake up 6am to catch the 8am flight..
Holy waaaaay too early to put on full make up so here well go with the hair tided and sunglasses..

This two things save my life always.

A little pose with my brother

Me:Topshop croptop, Zara black tight, converse, Balenciaga biker bag
Brother: A Bathing Ape jacket, bally cross body bag

One thing about flying: I always wear my favourite Zara tight.

It's super comfortable for sitting any kind of pose you find comfortable on a plane.
Highly recommend it!

Here comes another thing about flying: Entertainment!

I've been a fan of John Green lately..
Like a biiiiig big fan. First John Green's book I read was The Fault in Our Stars and ever since I bought all his works and trying to read them all. I love his style of writing a lot!

So this is my choice of this trip

John Green's Paper Towns

And sure thing,
plane's movies in my favourite things ever about flying. Because apart from my lovely ipod, the screen in front of me is pretty interesting to be paying attention to..

And since sometimes I missed out movies while it was in the cinema,
this is another way to catch them up!

Despicable Me 2 for this flight!

So after the plane land, a good way to get into Hongkong city centre in via train.
Cheaper and faster!

And of course, after you get off your destined station, which mostly is Hongkong Station,
catch a cap and head to your place!

Most of taxi in Hongkong don't park in front of your preferred place because they need to park by the taxi stands and that's also most of the way you can get taxi too.. they don't really park anywhere you whistle them too. A little inconvenient but you'll be fine! :)

Unpack the stuffs and head out with my brother.
I got myself one pair of shoes and a hat!

Stussy hat was a little unexpected but I'm totally inlove with it!
The gold print was sooo gorgeous on the black leather-ish material and the back was super nice as well! More info here: http://store.hypebeast.com/brands/stussy/black-world-tour-leather-ballcap

And the Dr.Martens was pretty not-surprising since I was always wanted it about almost 4 years ago I just didn't buy it ..no good reasons too :p :p

So after walking and buying stuffs in the first half of the day,
We all went up to this place called Sevva, it's a restaurant with a very nice place to chill

I really mean like.. "chill"
It was kinda cold up there on the 29th floor

In case you wanted to visit the address is 10 Charter Street.
For restaurant you need to book a reservation first but if you're only looking for a hanging out place with a little cocktails they wouldn't take the reservation...

Sevva, Hongkong

Sevva, Hongkong

So.. not feeling it at all I was wearing the brand new hat.. hahahhaa :-p

Actually just to filled in the outfit and cover up the not-ready hair.. I had no time to curl or do anything to my hair at all!

Inside was Miss Selfridge sparkling back-cut dress and filled in with the black stocking.. Protecting myself from coldness with Topshop black leather jacket and tint it up with the orange Balenciaga and the red Jeffrey Campbell's boot

After walking around town and bought 12 movies at HMV I came to meet dad at Time Square where he wanted a little advice on buying a bag. Lol

Though it looks like we're doing some kind of Mafia deal
(which is what my friends usually say)
We were really buying bags hahahhahaha

After went in for a resting time we went for a little late night dinner in a building of our place.
So we were staying in the service apartment in Shama in front of Time Sqaure.

It was very convenient and cozy.
I kinda recommend you guys staying at service apartment if you visit Hongkong. Somehow it's bigger than hotel room and it's full of stuffs useful for cooking and everything

The ramen place name is Ippudo, it's on the 2nd floor of Shama building
Ramen was good!

Have fun living life guys!

New York City #3

haaaiiiiiii

*update*
I'm out of Florida now!
currently in San Francisco, and these two places ..
All I can say is they are extremely different!

Orlando was freeeaking crazy burning
and here, in The Bay, its super cool and windy!

Updating my last dayssss in Big Apple..
This post includes more than one day.. I guess. :p
NYC blog is coming to the end!

sooooo when you're in NewYork there's a list not to missed right,
This sure be on the list: Watch Broadway show!

sooo as I booked the tickets earlier before I come here and sincerely I have no idea what to watch..
Normally, people would recommend Mama Mia right.. but I watched the movie over than 5 times already so I don't wanna spoil it in the theater so I went for 'Jersey Boys' as their reviews are super good.. and it came out good too!

Whole story is likely biography of The Four Seasons (if you know them it'd be best)

All casts were amaazing..
Humor and vocal. Not to mention setting, lightning and other props. All sooo goood

After the show, I hop on the bike-taxi from Broadway Time Square back to my Korean town hotel.. :3

The weather that day was soooo nice,
sun shines and cool breeze, perfect day for a bike-taxi!

We all went to Soho in the afternoon and evening
Shopping a little (?) and had a fine dinning <3

Ofcourse, I need to talk about this super fine food

at LomBardi's Coal Oven Pizza, Soho

Jeeeese. This meal is so gooood..
The place to super classic and pretty, though quite narrow at some area, but it has the vintage feeling that's very nice.

Well, obviously, pizza came out very big and sure, we had to take it out because we're too full :p

After went into town from Soho, me and my friend rest just a little while and we went out for some sky high view late at night at Empire State Building

It was really late, around 5pm that everything is dark enough to give such lights and city feeling

We went up 80s something floor and went up more on 100ich floor

sorry for my terrible memory :p

Here's one picture of me on the highest of The Empire,
It was 180 degree place but it's all indoor area.

This is one of my Sephora spendings.. hmmm still acceptable right..
wait and seeeee :p

Loving my new beanie and iphone case!
Stay Weird people<3

Let me know if you wanna see the haul and/or review!

Some midnight shopping at CVS

You people have no idea how I love pharmacy shopping as much as I love grocery one!

To Be Continue ..
Ha! The Big Apple blog's ending is yet to come
waiting for the last post on NYC soon my humans!

Talk to you soon! <3

New York City #2

Oh haii fellas <3

I came back fast ey?
Well I've got some time today! ..maybe like. tonightttt!

I went to Universal Studio in Orlando today and according to the fact that I am a super weird human that doesn't really goes along well with amusement park kinda stuff. I got extremely dizzy, felt terrible and went back to my hotel

Despite the feelings, i recovered, watched 3 episodes of Criminal Minds and now back here updating you guys about my days in the Big Apple!

That was the morning of my 2nd day!
With my lovely friend<3

Her name is Pear, i met her in elementary school but we got to know more in around grade7.
It was a long time right, for 20years of my life (urgh 20!) I've known this human for about 11 years!

After she stayed in Japan, came back and stayed with me.
Came here to America, got back and met me in Bangkok and now.
We finally got to meeet in the United States of Ameeeeerica!

Brooklyn Bridge, NewYork City.

We went to Brooklyn Bridge in the late morning.

Took the subway downtown, and walk along follow the bridge and signs.
It was a very nice day, clear sky and cool breeze blowing.

Unfortunately, the bridge was under constructing.. like. editing or something, we can still walk on it but some part was covered under the white sheet so it wasn't quite clearly pretty as it should be.

After a while of appreciating, we walk back down the same way, didn't actually cross to Brooklyn. We went to Financial District because my mother just so fond for the Stock market and she wanted to see the fancy NewYork Stock Exchange.

Well, sincerely, I wanted to see it too.
Not because I'm a market trader or anything but first, The Dark Knight Rises was shot based on the area. Second, I wanna see the famous charging bull which sounds quite strange and last, the place sounds cool to me. Lol.

Topshop blue tank, Topshop high waist blue soft jeans, converse classic, Longchamp long carry nude.

On the way there, we passed The Federal Hall.
Which yea, I don't know what it is but there was a huge statue of mr. president there.
Not the present one, ofcourse.

So yea, there was a huge body of George Washington in front of the Roman-like building but as I don't really know what he had done for the country, I shall just took a photo of his statue's sign..

No. I'm not being sarcastic.
hehehe :p

After had a troller lunch on the street for an American sake of feeling. We hop on the subway, headed uptown to the 5th Avenue.

No, not to upgrade the lifestyle or something but we got our tickets for NBC tour and Rockefeller in the evening.

This freaking ice cream on your left here killed me. It just sooo goooooood. so soft and sweet but not too sweet. MyGodddd. Just a really perfect combination!

so if you're in nyc and you see the big ice cream truck, jump in and ask for original ice cream on sugar cone. Trust me, no regret!

On our way there, we stopped by the huge 3 floors book store and finally I got the book I've been looking for; John Green's Looking for Alaska.

Since I read his The Fault in Our Stars and some random quotes online I always admire mr.Green's thought and choice of words..

If you like some kind of straight forward language you should try read some of his works.
it's brilliant.

As we've got loads of time,
I decided to check out this amazing place called The Grand Central Terminal.

Well yes, we all saw it from Gossip Girl the starting of the whole series..
but I'm not a huge fan of that franchise, I just wanted to be there because it look extremely good in the picture and it does! look stunning in reality.

Grand Central Terminal, New York City

Unfortunately, NBC Studio tour allows no camera inside so I couldn't take any picture for you guys from that incredible place..

It was huge.. like, the power and mental stuff they had on me.
I got goosebump when the guide said Justin Timberlake was there .. hahahahha :p

Well yea! It's JT, who wouldn't!

Up side down!

We stop by at Bouchon for some macarons.
Yes folks, you heard it right! The famous Bouchon!

I got myself one chocolate and one caramel here<3
hmmmm good..!

soooo,
Ready for Top of the Rock now guys?

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

The timing was accidentally perfect!
We planned to be there 8pm so we can see NewYork in night light but more lucky than that..

We got to see the sun setting over the Big Apple!!

First we just kinda feel screwed because it wasn't dark yet but when we see the sun going down, we all just went speechless.. guys, its amazing.

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

And there's the Empire State Building!

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

Not everyday that you got to see something like this in a life time..

Well guys,
I just wanted to say..

Appreciate every moment you have, it's all beautiful in its own way.
Memorize it the way you wanted to.
Breathe in every good minute and second you have as you're living in this world.
Take the breathe as if you're counting it.

Live your life in your pretty way :)

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

I'll get back to you soon and throw you guys some trolling I've done in NewYork!

Have a great day, great night and great whatever timezone you're in!
<3
