Georgetown and Washington DC. memorials

Hello pretties!

Next chapter of The States trip,
I'm here to make you drool over some goodie foodie!!

After being in the big apple for over 5days I took a Bolt bus down to mr. capital city to spend some quality and hopefully educational time, but probably fat time maybe, with my good friend Pear.

As I was super sugar high that afternoon because I spent my 4 hours car ride eating chocolate..
Well, I am desperately hungry but I only have Lidnt and some caramel coated chocolate with me.

Jumping around the city is kind of a good idea to burn your energy anyway..

and my friend decided on the wonderful weather to take me to Georgetown :)

Addidas Original top, Topshop moto soft jeans highwasit, Fred Perry navy blue.

Georgetown is very very pretty.
The neighbourhood own such a nice landscape, nice houses and buildings.
Lots of stores for you guys who love shopping and also lots of yummy places to full your stomach up.

We went to the very nice cozy Spanish place called Bodega

Started up with the starters first:

The one on your left is potato mixed with cheese and eggs and probably onions if my head still functioning well.. Lol. The white creamy sauce that come along is extremely tasty.. It goes together so well and actually can mixed up with other dishes too!

Some squids is always not a bad idea!
This ocean creature taste nice with the white cooked potato underneath.

And here come our guy!

Spanish style fried rice I suppose? :p
It cooked soooo well.
Looking yellowish but it was good as its smell!

Man, I really wish I could send you some scent through this amazing internet connection

soooo
who stop after the dinner?

Not us!

And of course.. Serendipity is always a fine choice<3

As the rules, come three order three.. or something similar
We got caramel sunday on the left and the Signature Frrrozen Hot Chocolate

..They literally spelled like that on the menu

one Regular Frrrozen Hot Chocolate and one Orrrreo Frrrozen Hot Chocolate
..and yes, they spelled oreo like that too!

Looking good right!

The next day was a Memorials tour.

Starting with the famous Washington Monument that's directly opposite of Lincoln Memorial.. and like.. having the reflecting pool in between.

The weather was pretty warm but adding that strong sunlight.. I consider it kinda hot there..

but the wind boozed it all better!

Reflecting pool, Washington DC.

Lincoln Memorial, Washington DC.

Everything look sooo grand and beautiful!

Say hello to mr. Abraham Lincoln!
he's soooooo graaand..

The feeling of standing there is soo good..
Like. getting to be a part of something so incredible. One of the must visit place on my list!

Also, one of the places shown most in movies! Lol.

man I wish i did something so great people build a sculpture of me too :p

And walking down east of the pool you'll see another memorial not so far.
It's the Korean War memorial with a pretty little fountain

Topshop white top, one size stripe skirt from Soho, topshop white little bag, Fred Perry shoes, Urban Outfitter shades

Freedom is not free

This sign makes me got a goose-bump..
its sooo true and so deep.

World War II Memorial, Washington DC.

And this incredible place is World War II memorial..
It's super duper super duper super duper beautiful.. There're all states of America round in circle and divided by the coastal line (Pacific and Atlantic). So huge and pretty.

After wandering around a lot, we decided to stop for a lunch.
And while I was on the bus the day before I surfed on Flip Board and see if there's anything cool nearby. I found top 50 or 100 of fried chicken must try before you die in the states. I show it to my friend and we headed there for that day!

The place called NOPA.
It's above the Spy Museum. You can get there easily by metro.
it was opposite one big art gallery

We started with something simple first..
but coincidently all starters we ordered are vegan..!
hahahaha being healthy for a meal!

(of course, not including the following chicken :p)

And the chickennnnn!!

Yes it was goood!

crispy and tasty :)

Oh well..
Ending this post with stripe on stripe!
seems like Nopa concept going so well with my outfit of the day :)

Have a nice weekend loves <3

New York City #4

Oh hi :)

We're coming to the end of my post on NYC!
It took quite a loooong long way here..

By the way before we start, what do you guys think about the new lay out of the blog?
Is it okay? It took me a lifetime to finished.. well for a technology dumpie like me :p
Let me know!

On the last whole day there, we went  to MOMA!
As known as Museum of Modern Art.

For me, who studied in art-english major in highschool..
and it probably been a while. i guess, away from fine arts and stuff.. I sincerely didn't really get the artworks there much.. and I felt super bad about myself -__-

Well, the photography section got me caught up the most.

But one thing remarkable about that museum is their food!
They have amaaaazing foooood!!!!

I totally forgot what this thing called.. but you try find it in the menu on the pasta section.

So sooo sooooo
The whole thing is covered with cheese and burning crispy cheese.
Gosh. Yummmm

Inside there's nothing but pasta and cheese.

Not that's its not healthy but sometimes you just gave up your health.. just once.. for this heavenly taste

I promise!
when I get back home I'll try my best to make that crispy cheese.. gosh. I just need to make it!

Do any of you guys have suggestion on how it might works? Seems like it might use the same method as Créme Brûlee?

I'll try!

So after museum, we walked up up uptown to Central Park..

Maaaannn.. we passed Abercrombie and Fitch.. and for some sake of nature I have no idea I'm lucky or anything but there was a topless model in front..

I am personally don't really obsess in 'abs' kinda stuffs

I mean.
I like it as healthy ones but one like those on Abercrombie models.. creeeepy..
No, I'm not weird right.. nooooo

Central Park is seriously New York City's jem..

Don't you just wish you're living in the biiiiig big city full of concretes and dreams but you have one huge, beautiful and clean jungle in the middle?

Sunny day, trees and chocolate just make me feel soooo so good.
Just breathing in the clean air under the tree is nice enough to have me smile like an idiot lol

Pardon my love of chocolate :p

After spent whole day walking I took my mother to Bubba Gump Shirmp & Co. for dinner

and yes, the middle of Time Square branch!

First of all an all: This blue water is amazing!

It made me smileeeeee :D

So, this blue water is lemonade mixed with other juice and ice blended. It came in the dancing lights plastic cup! The light keeps dancing and sparkling throughout my dinner time!
sooooo joyful!

This one is Spinach-Shrimp Nachos.

IT WAS EXTREMELY GOOD

just that. really.
you guys already know how good spinach and cheese goes together. you only need to imagine shrimp and nachos added in.. my god! .. you feel it?

This is Shirmp with rice and combination of cheese..?
hahahah sorry for my bad memory but I remember clearly that they are all soo good

and this last one is one of their famouss!

I'm not quite recommend this one to those who had much of fries food already.. it might hurt your throat so much if you add this more. but if you came clear then go for it baby!

Hiiii,
That's me on Time Square LCD.. taking picture of myself being filmed! lol

See how many characters you can find in the one picture!

..Confession came: my another Sephora spending
Let me know if you want some haul and review!

I'll come back with the next city guys!

Have a nice day :)

New York City #3

haaaiiiiiii

*update*
I'm out of Florida now!
currently in San Francisco, and these two places ..
All I can say is they are extremely different!

Orlando was freeeaking crazy burning
and here, in The Bay, its super cool and windy!

Updating my last dayssss in Big Apple..
This post includes more than one day.. I guess. :p
NYC blog is coming to the end!

sooooo when you're in NewYork there's a list not to missed right,
This sure be on the list: Watch Broadway show!

sooo as I booked the tickets earlier before I come here and sincerely I have no idea what to watch..
Normally, people would recommend Mama Mia right.. but I watched the movie over than 5 times already so I don't wanna spoil it in the theater so I went for 'Jersey Boys' as their reviews are super good.. and it came out good too!

Whole story is likely biography of The Four Seasons (if you know them it'd be best)

All casts were amaazing..
Humor and vocal. Not to mention setting, lightning and other props. All sooo goood

After the show, I hop on the bike-taxi from Broadway Time Square back to my Korean town hotel.. :3

The weather that day was soooo nice,
sun shines and cool breeze, perfect day for a bike-taxi!

We all went to Soho in the afternoon and evening
Shopping a little (?) and had a fine dinning <3

Ofcourse, I need to talk about this super fine food

at LomBardi's Coal Oven Pizza, Soho

Jeeeese. This meal is so gooood..
The place to super classic and pretty, though quite narrow at some area, but it has the vintage feeling that's very nice.

Well, obviously, pizza came out very big and sure, we had to take it out because we're too full :p

After went into town from Soho, me and my friend rest just a little while and we went out for some sky high view late at night at Empire State Building

It was really late, around 5pm that everything is dark enough to give such lights and city feeling

We went up 80s something floor and went up more on 100ich floor

sorry for my terrible memory :p

Here's one picture of me on the highest of The Empire,
It was 180 degree place but it's all indoor area.

This is one of my Sephora spendings.. hmmm still acceptable right..
wait and seeeee :p

Loving my new beanie and iphone case!
Stay Weird people<3

Let me know if you wanna see the haul and/or review!

Some midnight shopping at CVS

You people have no idea how I love pharmacy shopping as much as I love grocery one!

New York City #2

Oh haii fellas <3

I came back fast ey?
Well I've got some time today! ..maybe like. tonightttt!

I went to Universal Studio in Orlando today and according to the fact that I am a super weird human that doesn't really goes along well with amusement park kinda stuff. I got extremely dizzy, felt terrible and went back to my hotel

Despite the feelings, i recovered, watched 3 episodes of Criminal Minds and now back here updating you guys about my days in the Big Apple!

That was the morning of my 2nd day!
With my lovely friend<3

Her name is Pear, i met her in elementary school but we got to know more in around grade7.
It was a long time right, for 20years of my life (urgh 20!) I've known this human for about 11 years!

After she stayed in Japan, came back and stayed with me.
Came here to America, got back and met me in Bangkok and now.
We finally got to meeet in the United States of Ameeeeerica!

Brooklyn Bridge, NewYork City.

We went to Brooklyn Bridge in the late morning.

Took the subway downtown, and walk along follow the bridge and signs.
It was a very nice day, clear sky and cool breeze blowing.

Unfortunately, the bridge was under constructing.. like. editing or something, we can still walk on it but some part was covered under the white sheet so it wasn't quite clearly pretty as it should be.

After a while of appreciating, we walk back down the same way, didn't actually cross to Brooklyn. We went to Financial District because my mother just so fond for the Stock market and she wanted to see the fancy NewYork Stock Exchange.

Well, sincerely, I wanted to see it too.
Not because I'm a market trader or anything but first, The Dark Knight Rises was shot based on the area. Second, I wanna see the famous charging bull which sounds quite strange and last, the place sounds cool to me. Lol.

Topshop blue tank, Topshop high waist blue soft jeans, converse classic, Longchamp long carry nude.

On the way there, we passed The Federal Hall.
Which yea, I don't know what it is but there was a huge statue of mr. president there.
Not the present one, ofcourse.

So yea, there was a huge body of George Washington in front of the Roman-like building but as I don't really know what he had done for the country, I shall just took a photo of his statue's sign..

No. I'm not being sarcastic.
hehehe :p

After had a troller lunch on the street for an American sake of feeling. We hop on the subway, headed uptown to the 5th Avenue.

No, not to upgrade the lifestyle or something but we got our tickets for NBC tour and Rockefeller in the evening.

This freaking ice cream on your left here killed me. It just sooo goooooood. so soft and sweet but not too sweet. MyGodddd. Just a really perfect combination!

so if you're in nyc and you see the big ice cream truck, jump in and ask for original ice cream on sugar cone. Trust me, no regret!

On our way there, we stopped by the huge 3 floors book store and finally I got the book I've been looking for; John Green's Looking for Alaska.

Since I read his The Fault in Our Stars and some random quotes online I always admire mr.Green's thought and choice of words..

If you like some kind of straight forward language you should try read some of his works.
it's brilliant.

As we've got loads of time,
I decided to check out this amazing place called The Grand Central Terminal.

Well yes, we all saw it from Gossip Girl the starting of the whole series..
but I'm not a huge fan of that franchise, I just wanted to be there because it look extremely good in the picture and it does! look stunning in reality.

Grand Central Terminal, New York City

Unfortunately, NBC Studio tour allows no camera inside so I couldn't take any picture for you guys from that incredible place..

It was huge.. like, the power and mental stuff they had on me.
I got goosebump when the guide said Justin Timberlake was there .. hahahahha :p

Well yea! It's JT, who wouldn't!

Up side down!

We stop by at Bouchon for some macarons.
Yes folks, you heard it right! The famous Bouchon!

I got myself one chocolate and one caramel here<3
hmmmm good..!

soooo,
Ready for Top of the Rock now guys?

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

The timing was accidentally perfect!
We planned to be there 8pm so we can see NewYork in night light but more lucky than that..

We got to see the sun setting over the Big Apple!!

First we just kinda feel screwed because it wasn't dark yet but when we see the sun going down, we all just went speechless.. guys, its amazing.

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

And there's the Empire State Building!

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

Not everyday that you got to see something like this in a life time..

Well guys,
I just wanted to say..

Appreciate every moment you have, it's all beautiful in its own way.
Memorize it the way you wanted to.
Breathe in every good minute and second you have as you're living in this world.
Take the breathe as if you're counting it.

Live your life in your pretty way :)

Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Building, NewYork city

I'll get back to you soon and throw you guys some trolling I've done in NewYork!

Have a great day, great night and great whatever timezone you're in!
